With that in mind, here at The Martins Funeral Directors we offer eco-friendly coffins which have been specially made from sustainable materials, ensuring no harm to the environment.

The Willow: A willow coffin, handcrafted with sustainable willow and a simple lining. An environmentally-friendly option.

The Woodland: A light wood effect coffin made from reconstituted wood, furnished with wooden handles and lined with a simple interior. The Woodland is also available in solid oak with a natural beeswax finish. In our opinion, this is one of our most environmentally-friendly coffins.

Our environmentally-friendly coffins don’t compromise on quality – each and every one has been beautifully handcrafted to suit your taste. With our wicker coffins, there is the option to further personalise with a flower.

COVID-19 Update

Please find below an update of procedures for our office. This is to ensure the safety and wellbeing of our staff and families.

OUR OFFICE IS NOW OPEN (by APPOINTMENT ONLY)

Our staff are now able to make funeral arrangements in our office, however this is by appointment only. We are permitting TWO PEOPLE only in our office at any one time. Social distancing and sanitation measures are in place and must be adhered to. These measures are to protect everyone.

We will still continue to offer funeral arrangements over the phone, email or by post if preferred.

All crematoria, cemeteries and churches have reduced the level of attendance at funeral services. Please enquire for up to date details.

We will continue to give you our full personal attention and support and endeavour to do our very best in these challenging and very uncertain times.
